A bit of background story:
It was in mid 2020, AI Planet was born out of a desire to create a lasting impact and a hunger to solve meaningful problems through education and AI. We started the AI Planet community with the vision to make quality Data Science education free for everyone. And so far we have impacted 100K+ learners with our free learning resources.
My love for education was there ever since I was a kid and it was inspired by my mom, a teacher and a single parent. She began teaching to make our ends meet, and I was taught that education is something that lasts forever unlike materialistic things, and it could truly change an individual’s life and the people around them. Therefore, my team and I at AI Planet never saw education as a commodity, but as a means to a better future – for learners and the community at large.
At present, all the community initiatives are largely supported and funded by AI Planet, but as a startup, we can only do so much. We recently started accepting voluntary external donations to support our initiatives and multiply our impact.
